How do I prevent the game from crashing at the introscene on windows 10?

I’ve reinstalled the .NET and .XNA redistributables as well as the windows media feature pack. The game just don’t want to work. At some point I was able to play it, but it no longer works, do you know what might fix the problem?

Check out this site – http://www.videocardbenchmark.net/low_end_gpus.html – that graphics card is near the very bottom of the low-end cards.

I installed Rain Slick 3 and got it running, sorta. There’s no background menu screen and I have to hit enter a few times for the New Game/Options/etcetera dialogues to pop up. Then I start the game and there are no sprites. Can’t see character thumbnails during dialogue, can’t see characters moving in game, although I can see the room they’re supposed to be in.

Is this because my archaic graphics card doesn’t support the correct shaders? FFfffffuffufuffFFfthanks.

However, it gets stuck there saying that there’s an error finding storage. Is there a solution to this? I’m running Windows 8 x64.

I have recently purchased a new computer and re-installed the two games through my steam account but unfortunately it no longer loads the game and instead says “no suitable graphics card found unable to create the graphics device”. I disappointed that i can no longer play these games. I have already gone through the steam forums and even contacted them directly about this issue and they sent me here. Is their anything that i can do in order to play these games again?
